Chloe Grace Moretz is getting ready to take the underwater world by storm!

E! News caught up with the actress during the 2015 KIIS Jingle Ball this weekend and asked the bubbly blonde about her upcoming starring role in the live-action Disney flick, The Little Mermaid.

Moretz revealed that not only is she overjoyed to begin filming the highly anticipated flick, but she's slated to begin training for her upcoming underwater scenes.

"As of March I'll be doing The Little Mermaid," she dished before we asked how she is feeling about stepping into Ariel's shoes fins.

"I think it's a plethora of things. I'm excited, I'm nervous. I'm just excited to show something that I've loved for such a long time and in a different modern light," she gushed on the carpet before the concert.

So what else did she reveal about production for the soon-to-be hit film?

"I'm going to start training underwater in about a month, so we'll see how I am on that," Moretz spilled. Underwater training?! This is no joke!

And while little has yet to be released about the future flick, the adorable actress did spill the news back in early February to all of her fans on social media.

"Here it is !! I've been waiting months to tell everyone how excited I am to take on this beautiful journey with Working Title, Universal, and a beautiful script by Richard Curtis," she wrote alongside a screenshot of an article from Variety, who first reported the story. "#TheLittleMermaid !!!! Here we go!!!"
