This past year has been quite a monumental one for the actress (you know, considering those epic Golden Globes, SAG Awards and Oscar prizes). But her winning streak didn't stop there, carrying right on over into her sophisticated red carpet looks. Now without further ado, let's review.
Looking elegant as ever, Julianne arrived at the Mad Max: Fury Road screening in a stunning blood-red Givenchy Haute Couture gown. This custom ensemble, courtesy of Riccardo Tisci himself, featured a crocodile leather corset with a thigh high split, to which our reaction is: Ow, ow!
The actress' highlighter Emmys number (albeit back in 2012) can't be forgotten either, as she basically dominated the carpet in a long-sleeved Christian Dior Couture design. Fast forward to this year's SAG Awards, and Julianne again went for a bold look in a dazzling emerald green Givenchy Couture number.
At the 2015 Golden Globes, the Still Alice star again shone brightly in shiny Givenchy Haute Couture silver ombré dress with a gray feather trimming.
Then there was her Oscars gown which, like the awards show itself, served as the pièce de résistance of the 2015 awards season. The sequin-encrusted Chanel gown, conceptualized by Karl Lagerfeld himself, proved a meticulous addition to the best dressed list (the dress alone featured more than 80,000 hand-painted resin sequins).
