Actually, in seemingly taking it to the next level with Serena Williams, Drake has made a play for one of the all-time greatest athletes—so there he goes, being the best at something, yet again.
He also happens to be entering relatively uncharted territory, because nearly all the smokin' hot celebrity-athlete couples out there consist of a female celeb and a male sportsman, one exception being sport-on-sport (though that's not really the same either), such as now-retired soccer stud Mia Hamm and her hubby, now-retired MLB star Nomar Garciaparra.
Another exception: Serena Williams dating Common years ago. That sounds as though it would have been awfully hot. (Or if the rumor linking her to Colin Farrell was true. Can you imagine?) So basically any time Serena dated someone you've heard of.
But sexy is sexy, and if Drake and Serena become an official thing then consider us way too excited for next year's ESPYs, let alone the U.S. Open, which starts next week.
