It has been three years since Carrie Underwood has released a studio album, but fans can start getting really excited because the country crooner has released the cover for her upcoming album, Storyteller!

Carrie Instagrammed the picture, which shows her looking laidback with her hair down, dressed in cowboy boots and a button-down dress. The "Before He Cheats" singer looks gorgeous, of course. "The album cover for #Storyteller October 23rd will be here before ya' know it!" she captioned the pic.

She opened up to Entertainment Weekly about her forthcoming album, which definitely has her feeling a little nervous. "This is the longest time I've taken between studio albums," Underwood told the magazine. "I've been listening to some of these songs for two years and to still be excited about them is great but then it's like 'Oh my gosh, is everybody else going to like it?' I'm more nervous now that I've taken time."

She shouldn't have to worry too much, though, as the album's debut single, "Smoke Break," is already blasting on the radio. Even Carrie can't deny its success so far! She tweeted last Thursday, "Never have I heard a new single on the radio the day it was released...until today! Woo hoooo!!! I think it's a good sign! #SmokeBreak."

With such a long hiatus, however, fans might not know what to expect from Carrie, especially now that she's a mom! But she explained to EW that her new music will hit home for everybody.

"I feel like [Storyteller] is just really relatable," she said. "There's going to be a lot of songs on the album that people can listen to and be like 'I totally get what you're trying to say.'"

Relatable seems to be the theme of Storyteller, as Carrie described her first single in the same way. "The song itself is just kind of one of those story songs that I feel like everybody can relate to, about how life is so hectic and it's so nice when, if and when, you actually get to kind of step away for a second," she said about "Smoke Break" on Facebook. "And we all need that, we all need that time to ourselves to get to take a break."

Storyteller is set for release on Oct. 23.
