Barbra Streisand, Lady Gaga, John Travolta, Twitter

Barbra Streisand's Saturday night was better than yours.

The Funny Girl star and husband James Brolin hosted quite the low-key night over the weekend, which was made complete by some serious A-list attendees. Streisand hosted Ryan Murphy, Lady Gaga, John Travolta and wife Kelly Preston for a relaxing night in.

"A wonderful evening at home. (L-R) Ryan Murphy, @ladygaga John Travolta, @BarbraStreisand Kelly Preston & Jim Brolin," Babs tweeted.

The evening seemed to be an ode to Murphy and his work, as it brought together stars from two of his upcoming shows, American Horror Story: Hotel and American Crime Story. No, Streisand isn't participating in either of this (that we know) but his previous show, Glee, was essentially a six-season long love letter to Streisand thanks to Lea Michele's character, Rachel Berry.

Gaga also shared pictures from the evening, Instagramming the hostess' picture—with a filter—and another photo of herself with only Streisand. "Saturday Night Fever with some wonderful new friends," she captioned the group shot.

A source tells E! News it was Travolta who set up the evening: "He loves Gaga and wanted to get everyone together. And Ryan and Gaga had never met Barbra and really wanted to, so it all came together!"

"Barbra and me. what a completely amazing woman. #Funnygirls," she captioned her picture with Streisand, which recreated one of her famous Funny Girl poses.

Murphy and his past and present cast members have been living it up as of late, as the hit show creator tweeted just last week that Gaga threw an epic soirée for her AHS colleagues. As you might expect from the "Bad Romance" singer, her party was complete with a very creepy accessory: a dyed pool.

"Last night I had a dream that the HOTEL cast went to Gaga's house and at midnight swam in her pool that she dyed blood red just for us," Murphy tweeted Aug. 16. "Wait a minute, that was no dream...THAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED."

She certainly goes all out for her guests! That being said, it doesn't seem like Streisand had any bodies of water dyed for her Saturday night party.

We can't wait to see Gaga in all of her Mother Monster glory on AHS, but in the meantime take a look at TV's other incredible leading ladies.
