Princess Ariel, swim aside—we're all about mermaid Britney Spears these days!
The 33-year-old pop star made quite a splash Thursday with this Instagram photo! As you can see, Brit posed at the pool alongside sons Sean Preston Federline, 9, and Jayden James Federline, 8, but instead of wearing a regular bikini bottom, this hot mama opted for a full-length mermaid's tail!
Hey, why not? Britney's smiling little boys don't seem the least bit bothered by their mom's nautical ensemble. In fact, Preston and Jayden seem to getting in lots of quality time with Brit before their summer vacations come to a close.
On Wednesday, the "Pretty Girls" singer Instagrammed a photo of herself alongside Preston and Jayden at a chocolate factory, and on Sunday, Brit brought these handsome young men (and her niece Maddie Briann Aldridge) as her dates to the 2015 Teen Choice Awards!
Family is, without a doubt, very important to this Louisiana native. "My kids come first in my life, bottom life," Britney, who shares parenting duties with ex-husband Kevin Federline, told People earlier this year.
"Preston is very opinionated, very expressive, and if he doesn't like something, he's going to tell you," she said. "But he has a huge heart, he's a good kid and he has manners…Jayden is sweet, very soft-spoken, kinda funny. He's adorable—a momma's boy."
Don't think, though, that a mermaid-loving mama like Brit lets her kids slack on their schoolwork! "Homework is a priority," she told People. "We have a reward system that helps motivate them: if they get so many As, they get one toy a month."
That seems reasonable! And as we got to see in Brit's recent Instagram video, her boys get creative with those well-deserved toys!
