Raise your hand if you've had nightmares that involve Joe Bailey creepily saying "Gimme that rose" ever since he slithered onto Bachelor in Paradise?

While he was apparently beloved by his fellow contestants on Kaitlyn Bristowe's season of The Bachelorette, Joe has gone from "America's Sweetheart to America's Most Wanted," as Jared Haibon put it, during his short stint on Bachelor in Paradise season two, thanks to his gross treatment of Juelia Kinney and his even-grosser relationship with Samantha Steffen. Willing to do whatever it took to get a rose ("Rose over bros" is his life-motto/the saying on BIP t-shirts we are having made), Joe manipulated Juelia, a single mother with a tragic past, as well as his fellow Paradise-dwellers, and had no apologies about his behavior.

Of course, shady characters are a dime a dozen in The Bachelor franchise, with former stars Juan Pablo Galavis, Kelsey Poe, and Wes Hayden all courting controversy over the years. But is Joe the worst of the worst?

We decided to rank the franchise's biggest villains, from the least-offensive to the most-hated of the bad apples. So which baddie ended up as our top villain of all time? Click through our brand-new gallery below to find out!
