While Beyoncé has the Beygency for her haters, Taylor Swift has her own knight in shining armor.

Zayn Malik learned that the hard way Monday afternoon when he retweeted an account that spliced together a quote from Swift and a quote from Miley Cyrus regarding the music industry. The account attempted to call out T.Swift for her for-profit stance about streaming services, while bolstering Cyrus' anti-money attitude. But Swift's boyfriend, Calvin Harris, doesn't take too kindly to anyone shading his girlfriend, so when he caught wind of Malik's subtle jab, he went after him.

"You've made your money? Cool…f--k the 99% of musicians who depend on these services to survive right? Yeah f--k em," Harris tweeted. But he didn't stop there. The "How Deep Is Your Love" DJ continued, "If u don't get what it means when a successful artist uses their celebrity to benefit every other musician and songwriter in the industry stay out my f--kin mentions pls."

Harris, who insinuated that the former One Direction member didn't really understand the inner workings of the music industry, kept on slamming Malik in his Twitter tirade. "While u kids are refresh voting teen choice awards there's some poor f--ker in a basement making your new favorite record trying to survive," continued Harris. "Meaning…stay out of things you don't understand."

Harris managed to get in a few jabs before Malik ultimately responded, "@CalvinHarris ha you just made an absolute fool of yourself mate."

Harris responded once again with a tweet that seemed to want to end the feud. "All good, it was the quote not you personally mate," he tweeted. But Malik wouldn't let it go.

"Oh and I write my own s--t too d--khead," he added.

Swift has yet to respond to any of the back-and-forth between her boyfriend and her ex-boyfriend's former bandmate. Although the fight escalated rather quickly, it seemed to end just as fast, with Harris choosing to take the high road. "@zaynmalik best of luck, genuinely. You've got a great voice," he wrote.
