Ellen DeGeneres' Dory's getting some new friends voiced by some familiar faces!

On Friday, new details about Disney-Pixar's Finding Dory, the sequel to Finding Nemo, a new movie pic and two new cast members were unveiled at the 2015 D23 Expo event in Anaheim, California, near Disneyland.

And Disney is keeping it in the family. Ty Burrell, who stars in the Disney-owned ABC series Modern Family, was revealed as a cast member in 2014. At D23, DeGeneres, who plays Dory, the loveable, forgetful blue tang fish, appeared onstage with him and two new stars: His Modern Family co-star Ed O'Neill and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia's Kaitlin Olson.

O'Neill will portray Hank, a "cantankerous octopus." A photo of the character with Dory was unveiled at the convention, marking the first released official scene image from the movie (see below).

Burrell will play Bailey, a "misguided beluga whale," and Olsen voices Destiny, a "kind-hearted whale shark," according to the movie's Facebook page.

In Finding Dory, Dory, who suffers from short-term memory loss, reunites with Nemo and dad Marlin, voiced again by Albert Brooks, and embarks on a quest to find her family and discover more about her past. We're all dying to know: Just how did she learn how to speak Whale?

Previously announced cast members include Diane Keaton and Eugene Levy, who will play Dory's mom and dad, Jenny and Charlie.

In 2014, Pixar President Jim Morris spoke at the Comic-Con Experience in Brazil and revealed that Finding Dory will be set at the Marine Biology Institute of California, where Dory was born and raised before being released into the wild.

Finding Dory is set for release on June 17, 2016.

After the D23 events on Friday, DeGeneres and other celebs who took part, such as real-life and Once Upon a Time couple Josh Dallas and Ginny Goodwin, were spotted in Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure park.
