Downton Abbey, Season 6

PBS

It's time to break out the dinner tuxedos one last time on Downton Abbey. The beloved crossover hit drama is coming to an end and we've got even more photos from the final season. But not everybody looks as morose as they normally do. Are there smiles creeping in?

You may recall last season ended with some lovey-dovey moments between Mrs. Hughes (Phyllis Logan) and Mr. Caron (Jim Carter). Meanwhile, Anna (Joanne Froggatt) and Bates (Brendan Coyle) had finally cleared up legal drama surrounding Green's death. In the first look at the cast photo, Branson (Allen Leech) and Rose (Lily James) are missing, but in the 2014 Christmas special they were making plans to head to America. Something tells us we'll be seeing them.

In the photo above, Edith (Laura Carmichael), Cora (Elizabeth McGovern) and Mary (Michelle Dockery) are all dolled up in their 1920s best. It's just enough to make you want to do the Charleston, right?

Let's scrutinize the photos below, shall we.

Let's hear it for the boys! Will Thomas (Rob James-Collier) finally stop being so evil and maybe learn to accept himself?

Can we talk about squad goals? Mrs. Hughes and Mrs. Patmore (Lesley Nichol) are the besties we wish we had. Remember when Mrs. Patmore almost went blind?

Remember when Lord Grantham (Hugh Bonneville) surprised us and was like, "Yo Edith, I don't care that you had a kid out of wedlock?"

And finally, Violet, the Dowager Countess. Also known as HBIC to her close friends. They can't kill her off because we need some quality sass in the inevitable Downton Abbey movie.

The final season of Downton Abbey kicks off in the United States on Sunday, Jan. 3 on PBS.
