No amount of fame can protect you from the critics. In fact, as Kim Kardashian knows all too well, global fame basically makes everyone a critic.

And some critics are nastier than others. (While still others really don't even deserve social media accounts.)

So although Kim and her famous family are all about looking good, getting fit and being fierce, they've admitted time and again that they aren't entirely doing those things for themselves.

Sometimes, the haters just need to be reminded that they can suck it.

In honor of the six-months-pregnant, butt-naked-from-head-to-toe selfie that Kim just posted on Instagram this morning in hopes of once and for all shutting down the loons who are intent on calling shenanigans on her pregnancy, here are all the times the Kardashian and Jenner sisters have shut down the haters, body shamers and cuckoo critics, often with the snap of a picture:

Kim's Belfie Middle Finger: Kim revealed her hard-won bodacious post-baby bod the first time around in October 2013 with a calculated selfie that started the "belfie" trend. But North's mom wasn't just showing off. "I was trying on a bathing suit," she recalled on The Tonight Show, "and I actually just sent that to my boyfriend [future husband Kanye West] and I was like, 'Babe, can I post this up? This is like my big middle finger to the world on everyone that called me fat.'"

Khloé Gives Kim a Pep Talk: Well, it was a private missive that turned into a global pep talk. In 2013, Kim shared a very wonderful, supportive note that her younger sis wrote her. "For anyone to ever criticize a woman who is growing another life inside of her is true scum in my eyes," Khloé observed. Talking about that note later, Khloe told E! News, "I've been criticized about my weight forever and I've always been happy...One day, she was at my house just complaining...not complaining but just saying how hurt she is and she says, ‘I can't control it, I'm pregnant, I'm growing a baby, what do they want me to do?' And I just commend Kim for being so strong and she's so beautiful and I think it's wrong that anyone would criticize anyone for their weight, but then especially a pregnant person."

As Khloé told Complex magazine just last month about her relationship with her sisters, "I am a lion and these are my cubs. Don't f--k with my cubs 'cause I will rip your head off."

Khloé's Revenge Body: As it turned out, and it's completely understandable... Khloé wasn't that happy being "criticized about her weight forever." She has since followed in her sister's footsteps and totally flipped the double bird at her critics. "Yeah, it's a revenge body. But it's just as much for all my critics who called me ‘the fat one' for my entire existence," she said from her perch as Women's Health's braless September cover girl.

Kourtney Gets Real About Post-Baby Weight Loss: After having three kids, the eldest Kardashian sis knows that you don't whip back into shape the very next day. "I like to take my time and not try to put too much pressure on myself, but it's hard," she leveled with Harper's Bazaar this past spring, a few months after giving birth to son Reign. "I think I forget every time—you give birth and you want your stomach to be flat again. It does take a lot of work, but I usually start slowly by going on walks with the baby."

Really? More Butt-Implant Rumors?: Kim probably thought that getting X-rayed on Keeping Up With the Kardashians would be enough to dispel the speculation that her famous derriere isn't all hers. Alas, she was still defending herself as recently as February 2014, tweeting, "Using pics of me 15lbs skinnier (before I had my baby) comparing me to now! I still have weight to lose. Anyone who has had a baby knows how hard it is to lose weight (especially the last bit of weight) & your body totally changes! Making fun of me pregnant & making fun of me trying to lose weight now shame on you. I'm not perfect but I will never conform to your skinny standards sorry! Not me. And BTW I've lost a lot so far & I'm proud of that! Don't give young girls a complex!"

To sum up, in Kim's words: "Get a life!"

And While They Were At It...: "It sucks when people make up surgery or photoshop lies when I am so disciplined & work so hard! Just trying to motivate others & show anyone struggling with weight they can totally achieve whatever they want if they are dedicated!" Kim also wrote in January 2014 to all the critics who couldn't make up their minds over which version of the E! star they wanted to pick on more, the heavier or the skinnier version. Prior to that, in November 2013, she tweeted, "I am very frustrated today seeing reports that I got surgery to lose my baby weight! This is FALSE...Say what u want about me but I work hard & am the most disciplined person u will ever meet!"

Khloé Rises Above the Comparisons: It can be hard enough being compared to one sister, let alone two and, ultimately, four now that Kendall and Kylie Jenner are a little older. And Khloé was forced to rise above long ago after a slew of strangers couldn't get over the fact that she wasn't Kim and Kourtney's twin. "I don't know when the turning point was," she told The Block in October 2012. "One day I just thought, yeah, I am different and I'm pretty in my own way and they're pretty in their own way. Some people like apples, some people like oranges, but that doesn't mean apples are bad. I just accepted it." The now 30-year-old beauty funneled her experiences into her own anti-bullying activism.

Bullying Knows No Body Type: I'm constantly criticized for being too skinny," Kendall, a burgeoning supermodel, told Harper's Bazaar Arabia in March 2013. "I'm trying to gain weight but my body won't let it happen. What people don't understand is that calling someone too skinny is the same as calling someone too fat. It's not a nice feeling." And that was almost two years after her runway debut. Luckily the best revenge sometimes comes in the form of just moving on and dominating fashion week.

Kylie Says It All: Yet to have the microscope turned as much on herself, Kylie Jenner fired back the exact right comeback when asked about the criticism of Kim's pregnancy bod, back when her half-sis was expecting North. "It pisses me off when people say, 'You're so fat,' to Kim," the youngest Jenner-Kardashian sis told us in March 2013. "If you like it, and you feel good..." Kendall began, referring to Kim's not-very-maternal maternity style, to which Kylie quickly added, "I'm like, 'Are you dumb?'"

Exactly.
