The couple, who are arguably the most adorable duo in Hollywood, were plagued with infidelity rumors this summer after a Star magazine report claimed that Faris was worried that Pratt may cheat on her with his Passengers co-star Jennifer Lawrence.
Although many fans of the pair, who wed in 2009, immediately brushed aside the false rumor, the Mom star admits the report had a much greater effect on her than she expected.
"It has been a little devastating," the House Bunny star recently told FOX411. "For us it was like, ‘What the heck.' This has been blindsiding to us. We have an incredible relationship. It has been weirdly stinging."
With regards to the fabricated article, Faris added, "[That] stung a little bit harder than I thought it would. I have always kind of believed that part of the rumors of celebrity couples were sort of true—because they had never been a part of my life. I thought 'Maybe there is a kernel of truth to that.'"
In spite of the rumor, which is—of course—false, Faris remains incredibly grateful for her hunky hubby, with whom she has one child, 3-year-old Jack.
"I am very lucky that I am with a man that we both value family," the blond beauty gushed.
Meanwhile, Pratt recently told Women's Health that "honesty is the best policy" when it comes to relationships.
"Being mindful of someone's feelings is also very important," he explained. "It's not okay to lie, but it is okay to protect your partner. And understanding the difference requires wisdom."
He also shared the sweetest tribute to his gorgeous wife in an April Reddit AMA.
"Anna and I are meant to be together," he wrote. "Our relationship has made me believe in divine intervention and destiny, just as much as my crazy career and the way I fell into this life...Anna is a great wife. Very patient and understanding. Very supportive. So kind and genuine always. And she gave me a wonderful son and family of in laws that I truly love."
