Watch: Matt LeBlanc on Jennifer Aniston Getting Married

Two of Jennifer Aniston's friends were M.I.A. at her surprise wedding.

Friends co-stars Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry were not among the many stars to receive an invitation to the event, which was veiled as a surprise birthday party for Justin Theroux. In fact, LeBlanc hasn't even been able to congratulate the happy couple. "They took off on their honeymoon," he told E! News Monday at a Television Critics Association event in L.A. "I'll see her when she gets back."

LeBlanc said he is "really happy" for Aniston. "They're a good match, those two."

Friends stars Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow, however, did attend Aniston and Theroux's wedding on Aug. 5. It's unknown—although seemingly unlikely—if their other Friends co-star, David Schwimmer, attended the stars' surprise nuptials.

Jimmy Kimmel officiated the ceremony, and Howard Stern made a toast. Guests included Jason Bateman, Emily Blunt, Sandra Bullock, Courteney Cox, Whitney Cummings, Ellen DeGeneres, Portia de Rossi, Chelsea Handler, John Krasinski, Lisa Kudrow, Rachel McAdams and Tobey McGuire, among others.

"I think they're a great couple. I think she's happy. And that's all I care about is that Jen's happy. If she wanted me there, I would have been there," LeBlanc, 48, told People, adding that he missed her first wedding to Brad Pitt in 2000 because he was working in Austria. "She called me, and she was like, 'You're really not coming to my wedding?' And I was like, 'I asked them if they could change the schedule. I would fly and clap and fly out.' And they said, 'We can't do it. It's too tight.' It was a small-budget movie in Austria you've never heard of," the actor recalled. "Probably should have left anyway, but s--t happens. What are you going to do?"

Much like LeBlanc, Perry admitted to being taken aback by Aniston's wedding to Theroux. "It was a surprise to me as well." That said, he added, "They're a lovely couple, and I'm happy for them." Asked if he was sorry to miss the wedding, the 45-year-old Odd Couple actor told People, "I wasn't invited. So what can you do?"

Neither actor is mad at Aniston, 46, or Theroux, 44. "Jen's like my little sister," said LeBlanc, who was promoting Episodes. "Courteney and Lisa are like my big sisters, but Jen's like my little sister. Matthew's like my little brother, and David's like my big brother. That's how it all broke down. And it's literally just like chronological."
