Sephora, you got some 'splaining to do.

The beauty retailer has come under fire on social media for hyping up their annual Epic Rewards Day and then, according to dozens upon dozens of angry customers on Twitter, not delivering. (Like, at all.) The Epic Rewards Day Fail promotion teased insanely luxe prizes for the brand's most dedicated buyers, like a trip to Paris for Beauty Insiders with more than 10,000 points to their accounts, alongside other options—like $500 worth of Make Up For Ever products with a complementary training session at the brand's beauty academy and a Marc Jacobs Incognito satchel featuring a Marc Jacobs wallet and assorted beauty loot.

Other prizes up for grabs (well, supposedly) included a range of gift bags and kits from Elizabeth & James, Drybar, Stila, Bumble & Bumble, Bobbi Brown and Benefit. So you had to know there was going to be quite the demand, right?

Apparently, Sephora didn't—the available rewards were gone within seconds. What's more, the brand added kindling to the flame by offering a vague start time for the promotion ("The Epic Rewards will be launching on 8/10/15 during business hours," a brand tweet announced) and equally opaque responses to the stream of complaints about the lack of available prizes.

Well, you knew it was coming—read on for some of the more heated tweets below.
