Bethenny Frankel wants to keep it casual.

One month after E! News exclusively revealed that the Real Housewives of New York City star has been quietly dating Modern Family's Eric Stonestreet for a few months, Frankel was asked point blank about her relationship status on NBC's Today Tuesday. Rather than deny the romance or divulge too many details, the always outspoken Bravo reality star told Savannah Guthrie she's playing the field.

"I am dating and I am having a really good time," Frankel said before plugging one of her recent projects. "In my book, I Suck at Relationships, I talk about working the burners. You want something on simmer, something boiling, taken something off."

"Wait, do you have multiple burners going right now?" Guthrie asked.

"I mean, I may be working the burners. I think that's what women should do. I mean, I haven't been that lucky in relationships, so it's going to be a while until I profess my undying love, but the Today show will be the first place that I tell if I have anything to tell, because you know I'm an open book," Frankel said.

Guthrie pressed her guest to talk about "a certain Modern Family actor," to which Frankel replied, "I'm not making it a habit of confirming or denying anything because then it will be likes roaches: You'll have to kill them all. So, I'm just saying that I'm happy and in the fall I intend to be very, very sexually active."

Frankel, who has yet to finalize her divorce from Jason Hoppy, appeared on Today to promote tonight's season finale of The Real Housewives of New York City.

Speaking to E! News Tuesday morning, Frankel confirmed she is "dating" but declined to reveal who she's seeing. "I'm not confirming or denying anything because I decided that I'm not doing that," she said. "But I have been dating and I have been having a great time. I really have. I have enjoyed dating." Frankel added, "I will tell you that I am not in a serious relationship at all right now. I am dating."

In July, Millionaire Matchmaker's Patti Stanger called Frankel and Stonestreet's coupling "unusual," but also told E! News, "They're both successful. They're both smart. It's great for her to get on the acting radar and say she's dating actors so she can jump up. It's a bit of social-climbing move. But Eric's a cool, Midwestern dude."

Frankel's Real Housewives of New York City co-star Carole Radziwill also told E! News she had met Stonestreet "briefly" and said he "seems like a nice guy."
