Ron Galella/WireImage.com, APDonald Trump sure didn't have anything nice to say about Rosie O'Donnell during tonight's GOP debate.
Megyn Kelly flat-out asked him to speak about how he's referred to women throughout his campaign, recalling the times he's said certain people were "dogs, slobs and disgusting animals."
Without missing a beat, Trump came out swinging with the following insult: "Only Rosie O'Donnell!"
And of course, the entire crowd gasped in shock over the businessman's candid comment (not that that should be shocking to anyone by now…). But once the moment cooled down a bit, all eyes were on none other than the comedienne herself to find out what she really thought of the diss.
O'Donnell, it turns out, tweeted almost immediately after the comment was made, writing, "Try explaining that 2 ur kids."
OK, so it isn't exactly the shots-fired he-said-she-said response that we were looking for, but you get the idea.
These two aren't exactly known to be close pals, either. In fact, there's been an infamous, long-standing feud between O'Donnell and Trump for years now.
Earlier this year, Trump ridiculed the former The View host with yet another crass comment (which you can watch here).
Tonight's debate was filled to the brim with Trump quotes galore, and plenty of heated moments between the other nine Republican presidential hopefuls including Ted Cruz, Scott Walker, Jeb Bush, John Kasich, Marco Rubio, Chris Christie, Mike Huckabee, Ben Carson and Rand Paul.
