Brooke Wiederhorn (née Brinson) has reached a major milestone in her marriage.
The 29-year-old daughter of Kim Richards took to Instagram on Monday in honor of her one-year wedding anniversary with husband Thayer Wiederhorn. The blond beauty and the Fatburger heir tied the knot in August 2014 at Kathy Hilton's Beverly Hills home.
"1 year ago today ❤ I love you @thayerwiederhorn," Wiederhorn captioned a photo from her wedding day where she's gazing into her hubby's eyes.
According to Brooke's Instagram, the lovebirds appear to be celebrating at La Quinta Resort and Spa in Palm Springs, Calif. "The first of many anniversaries to come, with the love of my life #AnniversaryWeekend," she wrote of another pic which was taken at the golf resort.
About nine months after Brooke and Thayer said "I-do," the couple enjoyed a second wedding celebration in Mexico over Memorial Day weekend. The lovebirds originally wed in Beverly Hills so that Brooke's stepdad, Monty Brinson, who is currently battling cancer, could attend.
"...For health reasons I wasn't able to attend, but I've still been blessed that I was able to walk her down the aisle in August," Monty wrote on Instagram at the time of his daughter's second nuptials. "All the family and friends will be there but I will to in spirit."
He added, "My prayers have been answered with my daughter having her dream wedding what more could a father ask for… I love you Brooke. Now have a beautiful wedding and just know I'm right there with you."
Brooke's mother, Kim Richards, however, who has been in the spotlight for years for her sobriety struggles, did attend the May ceremony. She had been in rehab for about a month before the wedding, and less than two weeks after the "I-dos," she returned to treatment.
Most recently, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was arrested on Sunday for shoplifting and later released on $5,000 bail. Authorities told E! News that she stole upwards of $600 worth of items from a Target near her home in the San Fernando Valley.
Richards latest arrest comes about four months after her previous run-in with the law at the Beverly Hills Hotel. The Bravo star, who was described as belligerent by officials responding to a reported fight at the hotel restaurant, was later charged with one count of public intoxication, one count of resisting, obstructing, delaying a peace officer or EMT, and one count of battery upon a peace officer.
"I love sobriety," the former child star told Entertainment Tonight in a post-rehab interview, which was conducted before her shoplifting arrest. "I've always loved sobriety, and relapsing was very hard for me. It was not easy. I have to say—don't take this wrong—but I really wanted to go to treatment because I needed a break from what I was going through at home."
