Carrie Underwood is one hot mama!
The 32-year-old country star was back in her Daisy Dukes Sunday—just five months after giving birth to son Isaiah Michael Fisher—while filming scenes for her upcoming music video. She paired her sexy short shorts with a white top, checkered vest and knee-high fringe cowgirl boots. (You can see Carrie's trim, toned post-baby body in action in the behind-the-scenes clip above!)
It's obvious that the "Something in the Water" singer wasted no time getting back into shape post-pregnancy, but it helped that she didn't gain too much excess weight while she was expecting. "While I was pregnant, I did everything I could to try and make smart choices," she told E! News at the 2015 CMT Music Awards back in June. "And if I couldn't really like work out, work out, I'd go walk, and I just tried to stay active."
After delivering baby Isaiah via C-section, Carrie explained that she "couldn't work out for a few weeks." This wasn't an excuse to postpone that post-pregnancy weight loss, though! When Carrie couldn't hit the gym, she said she found ways to "kind of alter my diet."
These days, she's super flexible when it comes to working out. As she told E! News, "I make it happen where I can, when I can pretty much."
Don't assume she's got this whole working mom thing on lock, though. "I'm just trying to figure [scheduling] out and sometimes I do great and sometimes I don't and things fall apart," she revealed at the 2015 CMT Awards. "But it's just this whole other giant thing to deal with and schedule things around and feedings and stuff like that."
Fortunately Carrie's hubby Mike Fisher is happy to share parenting responsibilities. It's lucky for this mom and dad, too, that they both like to break a sweat—those joint workouts double as quality couple time for these two!
