We can understand that Luke Perry doesn't wanna talk about his Beverly Hills, 90210 days—but it's not as though the questions were coming out of nowhere!
Perry was at the Television Critics Association's summer press tour when asked if he'd be watching Lifetime's upcoming tell-all The Unauthorized Beverly Hills, 90210 Story, premiering Oct. 3. The answer?
"I don't even watch my own actual self on TV. Why would I watch [this]? No, I don't see it happening," he told reporters.
See, if we were there, we would have asked, "Would you watch it with us? Please?"
But Perry, who was there in support of the Up TV movie Welcome Home and the network's first scripted series, Ties That Bind, wasn't so keen on answering questions about a show he was on 25 years ago. The erstwhile Dylan McKay was asked by reporters what he thought about the tell-all and he replied, flatly, "I don't think about it."
Hurting for more, a reporter asked why he was so disconnected from the show, wondering, "Why does it not matter to you?" Shutting it down the actor said, "Third grade, how much does that matter to you? Exactly. It's just not relevant to anything I'm doing. Next question."
