Happy weekend, everyone! This past week was hard, what with all the outrage and sadness over Cecil the Lion's death and the feud between Drake and Meek Mill tearing Twitter apart.* It's just too much!

(*Obviously the killing of a beloved animal is way worse than two rappers tweeting back and forth to each other. We know that.)

While you are tempted to kind of crawl into the weekend, defeated, we urge you to look to this baby elephant for guidance and inspiration. The South African elephant calf is running headfirst and headstrong into a flock of swallows, which is exactly how you should be attacking the next two days.

The adorable video of the frolicking new-born animal was uploaded by South Africa's Kruger National Park in an effort to pick people back up after the tragedy of Cecil's death.

"We thought we would cheer everyone up with a video that will make you cry of happiness, rather than sadness," they wrote.

Chase away those dark emotions like the elephant chases away those birds! And if you want to see more live wildlife sightings, following Kruger National Park on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
