Exes Charlize Theron and Sean Penn were spotted looking fairly tense while filming re-shoots on the South African set of their flick, The Last Face.
The duo has been hard at work on the future flick since last year, where they were seen together in Cape Town shooting an action scene. Penn is directed the movie, while Theron stars alongside Javier Bardem and Blue Is the Warmest Color's Adele Exarchopoulos.
The photos mark the first time that the two have been spotted together since the news of their split went public mid-June.
At the time, multiple sources confirmed to E! News that the two Oscar winners had ended their relationship after dating for about a year and a half.
Their breakup came as a bit of a shock to fans, especially after the two spoke so highly of one another in the press in recent months.
In fact, the stunning blonde opened up about the possibility of marrying Penn during an interview for Esquire, explaining, "We've been friends for 20 years…The marriage thing is always so strange to me.I love the possibility of anything, but I'm really enjoying myself and the everyday moment and how that coincides with my son and my life and my friends. I'm a very, very, very lucky girl. Very lucky. He's hot. He is hot."
