Answer the phone, Gigi!
Gigi Hadid is exercising her acting chops (who knew?!) in a new short film for V magazine—and looking ever the statuesque supermodel while she's at it. The beauty stars in the teasingly named Those Wrecked By Success, in which she plays an actress going through a mundane daytime routine the morning after winning an Oscar. The phone rings constantly throughout the film, although Gigi doesn't answer—instead, she looks restless in bed; relives her acceptance speech while boiling water for tea; drinks milk from a jug while staring pensively at the Los Angeles horizon; strips from her bathrobe and takes a panties-only swim in the pool of her backyard mansion.
Filmed by fashion photographer Sebastian Faena, the short is really a showcase for Gigi's beauty and, well, the monotonous beauty of life for the famous in Los Angeles. Whether this means that there's more acting in the model's future, we don't know, but we think it's a pretty good start for the star.
