Bill Cosby is facing a deposition in his case against Judy Huth.

Huth claims that the 78-year-old comedian molested her at the Playboy Mansion around 1974 when she was just 15 years old. Cosby and his attorneys previously filed a petition to review earlier rulings in the suit filed by Huth. However, the California Supreme Court denied Cosby's petition on Wednesday, meaning The Cosby Show star is now facing a deposition in the case.

The original deposition was scheduled for June 26 pending the dismissal of the petition. Huth's attorney Gloria Allred is looking to schedule a new deposition within the next 30 days.

"Today, I am extremely happy to announce that we have won a major victory in the case of Judy Huth v. William H. Cosby," Allred said in a statement yesterday. "Mr. Cosby, through his attorneys, has been trying to block Ms. Huth from moving forward for some time...We vigorously opposed the California Supreme Court's granting of Mr. Cosby's petition to review this case and we filed a very strong opposition to his request. Today we are happy to announce that the California Supreme Court has denied Mr. Cosby's petition seeking review of Ms. Huth's case against him."

Allred added, "We are looking forward to Mr. Cosby answering questions under oath at his deposition and we will continue to seek justice for our courageous client, Judy Huth."

Huth filed her lawsuit back in December 2014 alleging that when she was underage in 1974 Cosby tried to "sexually molest her by attempting to put his hand down her pants, and then taking her hand in his hand and performing a sex act on himself without her consent."

Cosby denied the allegations, calling the claims "extortion," "absolutely false" and "untimely."
