Miley Cyrus has officially ended her fling with one of the most talked about body parts of the summer: her armpit hair. The pop star recently paid homage to her underarm locks by documenting the fateful waxing process on Instagram, and it looks as if the split might have been pretty messy.
In one pic, Cyrus winces as a pal rips the hot wax from underneath her arms. "R.I.P P.I.T @katyweaver," the "We Can't Stop" singer captioned the photo.
But Miley, being a true champ of the "reduce, reuse, recycle" mantra, found a unique way to repurpose the leftover hair and create something equally sensible as it is chic.
Using the hardened wax, which presumably still had a little stick left to it, the 22-year-old fashioned a makeshift wig for good friend and Flaming Lips lead singer Wayne Coyne.
"Pit clips are all da rage," Cyrus wrote on Instagram. This could very well be a new business venture for the star! There's no doubt that Miley diehards would line up for their very own piece of their idols' armpit hair.
As for now, there's no telling if or when Cyrus and her pit hair will reconcile and start to grow out again. We're hoping for an appearance during the MTV Video Music Awards on Aug. 30, which Miley will be hosting!
