Senioritis has officially hit The Daily Show!

Yes, Jon Stewart's final night is approaching sooner rather than later. But on Tuesday evening, the beloved Comedy Central star welcomed another man who will be switching job titles in the future as well.

Ladies and gentlemen, we present to you the final appearance of President Barack Obama and Stewart together on The Daily Show.

"I can't believe you're leaving before me," Obama joked as soon as he sat down for his third appearance as President. "In fact, I'm issuing a new executive order that John Stewart cannot leave the show. It's being challenged in the courts." Yes, please!

Could that optimism extend if Donald Trump ends up obtaining the Republican nomination? While Obama didn't share much about the Celebrity Apprentice host, he admitted "I'm sure the Republicans are enjoying Mr. Trump's dominance of their primary."

Stewart replied, "Anything that makes them look less crazy."

With the future of politics uncertain, Obama is confident that much of the work he started at the beginning of his term will come to fruition. "It's going to be a process," he shared. "I can say government works better than when I came into office."

The Daily Show airs Monday-Thursday at 11 p.m. only on Comedy Central.
