Less than fifteen seconds of new X-Files footage? We will take it!
We were happy enough just knowing that more episodes of The X-Files were happening at all, but this is absolutely the greatest icing to top this Emmy-filled cake of a day.
Sure, the footage isn't much, but it is positively X-Files-y in the best way possible, and it makes us even more excited for the six episode revival to finally air.
Let's break it down, shall we?
First, some sort of ship seems to have crashed, to then be discovered by a small army of men with flashlights and one guy in a dark suit.
Then, two bloody bodies are dragged towards a waiting tank.
The bodies (presumably) are then experimented on by a gloved hand and a creepy-looking tool, right before someone RUDELY STEPS ON THE "I WANT TO BELIEVE" POSTER.
RUDE.
No need to worry, however, because Mulder...
and Scully...
...are here to save the day, look fabulous, and presumably yell at that person for stepping on the poster.
Like we said, not much, but perfect anyway. Now scroll back up and watch it again!
