Is this kind of creepy or completely endearing?

Controversial baseball star Barry Bonds cozied up to MLB legend Willie Mays to snap a pretty hilarious selfie of his godfather in a deep slumber, which he recently shared on Instagram. The 84-year-old former San Francisco Giants MVP rocks an extra fly pair of silk striped pajamas while Bonds flashes a wide smile that just screams best prank ever.

Based on the sweet words the 50-year-old had for Mays though, it seems Bonds really just wanted to express appreciation for his longtime mentor.

"Yes he sleep. #SayHey Willie Mays and yes I sleep next to him. I am so proud to have the best God Father in the world. I Love you and everything that you have done for me and my family Willie," Bonds captioned the pic

In a 2010 interview, Mays opened up about his relationship with the former baseball star, saying that he played a prominent role in guiding the young athlete to play for the Giants.

"When Barry was about 5, he used to come to my locker because I had four or five cases of bubble gum. I would take Barry out to center field, and he would hang with me, and when he got to the age where he went to Serra [High School]... the Giants wanted to sign him," Mays said. "I said no. I told Bobby [Bonds' father] that Barry had to go down there to college, because we didn't go."

Bonds went on to attend Arizona State University and later played for the Pittsburgh Pirates before Mays said he convinced San Francisco Giants former manager Peter Magowan to bet on Bonds.

Mays recalls telling him, "You get him right away and I can take care of him. I guarantee you he's going to hit some home runs in this ballpark. And he did."

Aww! Now that's pretty sweet.
