The San Francisco 49ers running back and his wife welcomed a son Sunday, E! News can exclusively reveal. "The baby is healthy and the couple are so thrilled and excited," a source says. "All their family and friends are around them."
Other details—including his name, weight and measurements—are not yet known. The day of his birth is extra special, as it was the couple's first wedding anniversary.
Earlier this year, E! News exclusively revealed that the happy couple's second child would be a boy. "Reggie is extremely supportive and helpful," an insider said of the Super Bowl winner, who previously played for the New Orleans Saints, the Miami Dolphins and the Detroit Lions. "They both always wanted a big family."
Bush and Avagyan's elder child, daughter Briseis Bush, was born in May 2013.
Prior to his son's arrival, the 30-year-old NFL player kept busy with the Ralphs Unplug and Play Reggie Bush Football ProCamp in partnership with Tide. During the two-day event in La Mesa, Calif., he offered boys and girls in grades 1 through 12 tips for becoming better players. After the training sessions came to an end, he treated campers to a movie. "Special thanks to Disney/Marvel for letting me screen #Antman with our campers," Bush wrote on Instagram. "Great family film!"
