Nicolle Wallace helped Raven-Symoné keep her ego in check Monday.
During The View's Hot Topics segment, the co-hosts discussed Republican presidential hopeful Ben Carson, who recently wrote an article announcing that he will no longer be taking selfies with people.
"I mean, I don't have a problem with selfies as long as you ask me first," Raven-Symoné said. "I actually don't like signing my name anymore because my hand gets a cramp. If you want me to vote for you—" Before she could finish her sentence, Wallace interrupted her co-host to ask, "Are you that famous?"
The audience laughed, and thankfully, Raven-Symoné did, too.
"I'm sorry!" Wallace said.
"And that's why I love you, Nicolle! And that's why I love you! Keep me in check, as you do. Keep me right in check," the actress said. "I used to be [famous] when I was on The Cosby Show. Not anymore." Wallace explained that she had meant the former child star must have to do "a lot of signatures to get a cramp."
"Back in the day, when I was famous..." the That's So Raven star joked. "You know, when I had a TV show..." At that point, Whoopi Goldberg cut Raven-Symoné off to remind her newly hired colleague: "Listen, you've still got a TV show. You're on this one." Then, poking fun at recent recasting rumors, she motioned in Wallace's direction and said, "The two of us, we're not sure. But you are definitely here!"
