What a treat—a triple dose of cuteness on Monday morning!
Now that Prince George has finally arrived in New Zealand with mother Kate Middleton and father Prince William, we've finally had our best glimpse at just how much the 8-month-old has grown (and isn't he just adorable?!).
So now we can't help but compare the duke and duchess's baby pics to the latest shot of their son and naturally, the resemblance is unmistakable.
While Prince George and Prince William share similar facial features the future King of England's cheeks are a wee bit chubbier than his father's, who also appears to have had a bit more hair than his offspring at such an early age.
Although George seems to bare a slightly stronger resemblance to his mother, he undoubtedly inherited his bright blond locks from his dad.
The third in line to the throne also appears to have dark eyes, just like his gorgeous mum, while Prince William's are a bright shade of blue.
And even his little nose looks just like his mama's, proving the prince has clearly inherited his parents' good looks.
William traveled to New Zealand in 1983 with mother Princess Diana and father Prince Charles and now he is embarking upon his own tour Down Under with his wife and son. Before this trip, Queen Elizabeth II gave special permission for William and George to fly together, as two heirs to the throne seldom do. (Her Majesty gave the same consent to Prince Charles when he traveled to Australia with his wife and then 9-month-old son.)
Will, Kate and George arrived at the Military Terminal at Wellington Airport Monday morning local time to begin their highly anticipated tour, which also marks the stunning royal's first visit to both New Zealand and Australia.
The Duchess of Cambridge toted the adorable 8-month-old on her hip and the Duke of Cambridge waved as the family disembarked from the Royal New Zealand Air Force aircraft, their connecting flight from Sydney.
And of course, the 32-year-old beauty kicked off the trip in style, clad in a Catherine Walker button-adorned red coat, a scarlet Gina Foster pillbox hat and classic black pumps in addition to a silver fern diamond and platinum brooch borrowed from the queen.
Following their arrival, Kate and William will attend a Ceremonial Welcome at the Government House in Wellington around lunchtime.
The family will also attend an official event for new parents and babies, which marks George's first public appearance since his royal christening, on Wednesday at the Government House, where baby Will crawled back in 1983.
