Lamar Odom says he still loves Khloé Kardashian.

The basketball player talked to reporters in Spain, where he has signed a one-year deal to wear No. 7 for Laboral Kutxa (or Saski Baskonia of the Liga ACB), a pro team based in Vitoria-Gasteiz, and he revealed that his feelings still run deep for his soon-to-be ex-wife.

Khloe filed for divorce in December after four years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences—a sad but seemingly inevitable ending following months of attempts to work through their issues.

But Lamar says that only "time will tell" what's going to happen between them.

"Of course, that's my wife," he replied when asked if he would marry Khloé all over again. "I love my wife...She will always be my wife no matter what."

And yes, as the interview goes on, Odom shows that he is perfectly aware that he's in the middle of a divorce.

A source tells E! News that the 34-year-old athlete, who hasn't been the same player since his Sixth Man Award-winning days with the L.A. Lakers, has been really trying to stay fit and seems really focused and together at this time.

He spent time working out at the University of Rhode Island last November training for a comeback, and word was that he was getting into tip-top condition.

Meanwhile, Odom, who left Los Angeles for Spain just a few days ago, had a lot to say about Khloé, their marriage (the best days of his life, he says), their divorce, his time on Keeping Up With the Kardashians and more.

Tune into E! News tonight at 7 p.m. & 11:30 p.m. to watch exclusive footage of Lamar's interview!
