Bethenny Frankel and her husband Jason Hoppy have called it quits.

'It brings me great sadness to say that Jason and I are separating." Frankel tells E! News in a statement. "This was an extremely difficult decision that as a woman and a mother, I have to accept as the best choice for our family. We have love and respect for one another and will continue to amicably co-parent our daughter who is and will always remain our first priority. This is an immensely painful and heartbreaking time for us.'

The two, who married two years ago at a New York's famed Four Seasons restaurant, were first hit with splitsville rumors back in May, but a source told us at the time that they were still very much together.

Fast forward to Dec. 18 with In Touch reporting that Frankel was meeting with divorce lawyers. Just six days earlier, Us Weekly reported they were on the rocks, but the magazine also quoted a source who insisted Frankel wanted to work things out and stay together.

Frankel, 42, first met Hoppy, 40, in 2009 when she was still part of the original cast of The Real Housewives of New York. Her spinoff series, Bethenny Getting Married, followed their trip to the alter. Next up was Bethenny Ever After, another series which put a spotlight on their married life as well as the birth of their daughter, Bryn, now 2 years old.

Frankel has said that she has no regrets showcasing her and Hoppy's wedding.

"I truly don't believe in regret," she told Parade.com. "Every experience helps you in the next one, and Bethenny Getting Married was an incredible learning experience documenting the most magical time of my life. I put my personal life out there because I owe that to the viewers. They have spent the last three years with me taking time out of their lives to watch my life. They deserve the whole truth and nothing but."
