The Grown Ups 2 costars were seen laughing and joking as they worked up a sweat and scored touchdowns under the California sunshine.
The 19-year-old son of former governor Arnold Schwarzenegger looked relaxed and happy in black gym shorts and a red T-shirt. His 20-year-old Twilight pal sported a UCLA football shirt and a black baseball cap during their athletic afternoon.
Last summer Schwarzenegger spent the Fourth of July with Lautner's ex Taylor Swift at the Kennedy compound in Cape Cod, where rumors swirled that the two were together before it was revealed that the songbird was in fact romancing his 18-year-old cousin Conor Kennedy.
Swift has since moved on with Harry Styles, and the adorable twosome recently celebrated the singer's birthday together.
Hmm…wonder if the blond beauty came up in conversation?
