After Zero Dark Thirty nabbed a Golden Globe Awards Best Picture nomination Thursday (among its four nominations), a third and final trailer for the flick was released Friday, revealing more about Jessica Chastain's CIA analyst character, Maya.
In the trailer for Oscar-winning director Kathryn Bigelow's critically acclaimed, controversial thriller, Maya leads the hunt for Osama Bin Laden, telling her colleagues that in spite of their beliefs, she is "100 percent" sure of the terrorist's exact location.
While the trailer leaves out the film's controversial torture scenes, new scenes showing the hunt for Bin Laden and Maya's journey throughout the process are included, with the Scala & Kolacny Brothers choir's cover of Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters" playing in the background.
And it's clear nothing else matters for Maya other than solving the mystery of Bin Laden's location and taking him down.
Based on the true story of how Bin Laden was found and killed, Zero Dark Thirty will have a limited release Dec. 19 in New York and Los Angeles, and hits theaters nationwide Jan.11.
