"The Countdown to Music's Biggest Night" is officially leaving Los Angeles and taking a road trip to the nation's country-music mecca, Nashville.

As in past years, "The Grammy Nominations Concert Live" will announce the awards contenders on prime-time television and will feature performances by past Grammy winners and nominees. (Cross your fingers for Taylor Swift!)

The hour-long special will set the the stage for the 55th Annual Grammy Awards, broadcast live on CBS from Los Angeles' Staples Center on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013.

While we're sad to see the televised concert leave the West Coast after its five-year history, Nashville's country music history and legends are bound to spice things up.

The show will air Dec. 5 at 10 p.m. live on CBS from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena.
