Will Lamar Odom Return to Dallas to Face Off Against Kris Humphries?

Is Lamar Odom ready to get back to the old ball game?

If the Khloé & Lamar star rejoins the Dallas Mavericks tomorrow night at home, a week after taking a sudden leave to be with his ailing father in L.A., he'll be just in time to square off against Kris Humphries, whose New Jersey Nets are coming to town!

So, does Odom plan to play?

A rep for the Mavericks told E! News that Odom was not at practice this afternoon and "is continuing to deal with the family matter."

Coach Rick Carlisle refused to give a timetable for the forward's return, only telling the Dallas Morning News, "The hope is that he'll join us soon, and we'll update you when there's an update."

Odom skipped last Wednesday's matchup against his old team, the Lakers, to visit his dad in Los Angeles.

Humphries, who sat out one game before the All-Star break with a calf injury, has been cleared to suit up with his fellow Nets when they touch down at Dallas' American Airlines Center.

Whether Odom plays or not, though, Humphries' biggest critic will remain in L.A.

Khloé Kardashian Odom is doing The Tonight Show tomorrow and Conan on Wednesday in support of Khloe & Lamar (airing Sundays at 10/9 central on E!), so she will be staying behind for now, in any case.

There's no word on his dad Joe's condition, but Odom had originally been expected back in Texas this week.
