Music royalty couple Beyoncé and Jay-Z took their bundle of joy Blue Ivy Carter out for the first time in public in New York City's West Village Saturday, just weeks after revealing photos of the new addition, marking the Carter family's first public foray together since Blue Ivy's birth January 7.
With Jay-Z following close behind, Beyoncé carried her precious cargo wrapped in a blanket close to her as they stepped out for lunch at Sant Ambroeus restaurant.
Blue Ivy made her much anticipated debut to the world just last month at Lenox Hill Hospital, but went unseen until her proud parents posted pics of the newborn online, offering a note signed by "The Carter Family," which read: "We welcome you to share in our joy. Thank you for respecting our privacy during this beautiful time in our lives."
