It may not be The Amityville Horror, but Paula Abdul is ready to bolt from her L.A.-area house that's seen its fair share of bad karma.

The former The X Factor judge is selling her Sherman Oaks mansion, which hit the market a day after Abdul agreed to pay $900,000 to a woman to took a bad spill in her driveway five years ago while filming her short-lived reality series Hey Paula.

So what will the potential buyer be getting, aside from a $1.9 million price tag?

The five-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bath manse covers 4,679 square feet and comes with rolling gardens, a pool, intricate wrought-iron detailing and a soaring foyer.

But the Mediterranean-style home's biggest selling point is its sweeping views and breezy vibe.

Let's hope that's enough to exorcise the house's nasty memories.

Aside from the reality-show mishap, a one-time American Idol contestant committed suicide by OD'ing on prescription meds while sitting in a car just outside the home. Abdul also recently split with her record-label beau, Jeff Bratton.

The "Forever Your Girl" singer seems ready to move on: Abdul recently held an estate sale and unloaded an eclectic range of items.

Among them? Gowns, shoes, tchotchkes, artwork and even an old, sparkly outfit from her L.A. Lakers cheerleading days.

Here's to a fresh start, Paula: After all, nobody really needs a sequined gold bikini top these days, right?
