Some sad news out of the Osbourne camp.

The famous family announced on Monday the death of their beloved bulldog, Lola.

"Lola you brought love, companionship, and fun into our home for 12 years," family matriarch Sharon Osbourne tweeted. "You will never be forgotten. Love momma."

Sharon's kids also took to Twitter to grieve during this difficult time.

"Lola you were the best friend anyone could ever have," wrote Jack Osbourne. "I will love you and miss you always. RIP"

"night night tweet hearts not doing so good losing @PrincessLolaO is really taking its toll on me!" added his sister, Kelly.

Of course, as fans of the clan's MTV show The Osbournes will recall, the 12-year-old pooch was certainly a star in her own right as she could often be seen leaving her, um, mark all around the house. In fact, she even had her own Twitter page and more than 9,000 followers.

"Thank you ALL for your kind words," read a message posted on the account. "I'm in a better place now. Heaven needs a new princess."
