Miley Cyrus was planning on joining the vampire craze, but the former Disney darling has decided that Dracula isn't for her right now.

I can exclusively reveal that...

The actress-singer is no longer attached to Adam Sandler's upcoming animated flick, Hotel Transylvania.

Cyrus was to voice Mavis, the young daughter of the quintessential bloodsucker Dracula (Sandler).

So why'd Miley ditch the project?

Some are speculating that she's more interested in partying than working. However, I'm happy to report that a source says Cyrus simply decided to take some more time to figure out what her next move in the movies should be.

"People drop out of films all the time," a source said. "Seriously, it's not that big of a deal."

Cyrus' rep could not be reached for comment.

Cyrus is currently on a promotional blitz for her cover of Bob Dylan's "You're Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go." The song is featured on Chimes of Freedom: The Songs of Bob Dylan, an album benefiting Amnesty International.

While it's still unclear whether Cyrus will be at the Grammys this weekend, I am told she is planning on attending Clive Davis and the Recording Academy's legendary pre-Grammys party on Saturday at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
