The Big Yin is coming to Middle-earth!

Reports confirm that Billy Connolly has been added to the cast of Peter Jackson's two-part adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit, and will have a significant role in the film.

Can you take a wild guess as to who he'll play?

Connolly will take on the part of Dain Ironfoot, a dwarf warrior and cousin of Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage).

"We could not think of a more fitting actor to play Dain Ironfoot, the staunchest and toughest of Dwarves, than Billy Connelly, the Big Yin himself," Jackson said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter. "With Billy stepping into this role, the cast of The Hobbit is now complete. We can't wait to see him on the Battlefield!"

Well, he's definitely got the look down.

The first part of the prequel to The Lord of the Rings is slated to hit theaters Dec. 14.
