So he's donating his birthday to fight the exploitation of children. In a video posted to Causes.com, the actor told fans that he'd match dollar for dollar all donations to his and Moore's DNA Foundation.

"I'm determined this year to do everything in my power to make the world a better place," he said. "I want to start by getting right after it today. He vowed that all donations would go "towards technology tools for fighting child pornography and the sexual exploitation of children."

"I hope you can join me in that fight and donate whatever you can," he said.

Happy Birthday, Ashton. We sure hope your birthday wish comes true.
