HBO star will guest star on the Valentine's Day episode

Ryan Kwanten, you don't have your shirt off in these pictures, and that makes us upset.

But we're sure you'll still be adorable while guest starring on New Girl, as these photos clearly prove. It seems like Jess (Zooey Deschanel) and Oliver (Kwanten) really hit it off in the Valentine's Day episode, until later on in the evening…

Jess, who is single on Valentine's Day for the first time in six years, is looking for a one-night stand, and she thinks she finds the right one in Oliver. But as you can see in the next picture, the shiny factor of her fling wears off fast when she finds out they have nothing in common and that he's, well, kind of dumb.

It appears that Jess and her wingman Schmidt (Max Greenfield) get real bored really quickly with Oliver. As long as they somehow get him to take his shirt off before kicking him to the curb, we don't care.

And if he keeps his Australian accent? Sold.

New Girl's Valentine's Day episode airs, on Fox on Feb. 14.
