Mommy Mia! Tina Fey to Play Meryl Streep's Daughter

Award winners will team up for a mother-daughter comedy

It's called Mommy & Me, but we prefer its working title, When Emmy Met Oscar.

Sony Pictures has picked up an in-the-works comedy starring Meryl Streep and Tina Fey as mother and daughter.

Yeah, we're already sold, too.

Per the Hollywood Reporter, two-time Streep costar Stanley Tucci has signed on to direct the screenplay by Joby Herald. Though we think Fey and Streep could just hang out and talk and people would pay to watch.
