Jennifer Love Hewitt Befriends Bachelorette Ali!

Actress makes friends with reality star while playing drag queen bingo...does she want to be the next Bachelorette?

Is newly-single Jennifer Love Hewitt angling to be ABC's next Bachelorette?

It could explain why she was so fast to befriend Ali Fedotowsky last night when both girls hit Hamburger Mary's separately for drag bingo night.

"Jennifer came right over and introduced herself," an eyewitness tells me. "She got her number and kept saying they have to hang out. It was a little desperate."

"She got up to call a few games with the drag queens," the restaurant-goer says. "She won a game herself and donated her gift basket to a girl who was there celebrating her birthday."

J. Love got lucky as well, winning one game. And later the two girls were snapped leaving the West Hollywood hang together, but that wasn't the end of Ali's night.

She later hit up Boudoir, where Paris Hilton and her new Vegas guy Cy Waits were partying.

We're all for making new friends, but please, Ali, say no to vajazzling!
