Jon Gosselin Wants Back on TV—Is DWTS in His Future?

Kate's ex-hubby is thinking about jumping back into the reality game or maybe...DWTS?

With Kate off doing Plus 8 solo with the kids, one can understand how Jon Gosselin might feel a little lonely out of the spotlight.

After leaving his hit TLC series, Jon & Kate Plus 8, and struggling through a contentious divorce, the octodad is eyeing a comeback in the form of a new show, though he's not sure exactly what that would be.

"I'm interested in going back on TV," Gosselin tells E! News. "I'm not sure about a reality show or whatever but I'm meeting people and seeing what is out there programming-wise. I haven't been on TV for a while—first time in about six months so I am just kinda laying low, focusing on my life, getting back with my kids and figuring things out."

He added that it felt good to lead a "normal life" again during his hiatus from the tube and tabloids.

"When all my paparazzi friends disappeared from my property, it was wonderful," he says. "I still get photographed, but I'm used to it now. It is nice to go back to Pennsylvania and have a normal life. It's not like New York or L.A. PA is PA."

But would Gosselin consider an invite to go on Dancing With the Stars like his ex-wife's well-received stint this spring?

"I know I have rhythm and I know I can dance, but I don't know about me going on. No one has said anything to me," he says. "But I took ballroom dancing. I'm pretty fluent in that sort of thing. But after watching it I'm like, Ugh, so much criticism. I think you should go out there and just have fun anyway."

Maybe it's time to get those dancin' shoes on.
