Brooke Mueller is once again seeking professional help. But not for the reason you may think.

Despite a report that Charlie Sheen's future ex-wife has returned to rehab, E! News has confirmed that she has done no such thing, but instead has voluntarily entered into a program to help her deal with stress management.

Given the activity of the last few months, we imagine there's a lot to manage.

"She has not gone back into rehab," rep Elliot Mintz told E! News. "That report was inaccurate."

Here's the deal, according to the rep:

"What's going on is Brooke is currently receiving professional help in the area of stress management. It was Brooke who recognized that it would be in her best interest to deal with personal issues involving stress that have the potential of challenging her sobriety. By seeking proper professional guidance she'll be able to resist returning to old behavior patterns.

"There is no shame in asking for help when it is called for. I've been informed she is doing well."

Whether or not it's part of her program, Mueller has already taken steps to distance herself from the situation, as People reports she's taken twins Max and Bob and moved outside of Los Angeles. For the next two weeks, she'll spend time in rental homes in both Laguna Beach and Santa Barbara.

As for Charlie, he's due back in court July 12. If he can find a ride.
