It's nice to be wanted.

Confirming what E! Online's Marc Malkin reported back in March, the Proposal costars Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds are set to reunite for Most Wanted, an action-comedy from the screenwriter who brought them together in last summer's romcom hit.

And the hook this time?

Taking their mature funnylady meets hot younger guy act on the road, the caper follows a criminal suspect (Bullock) who's escorted to court by an FBI agent (Reynolds) only to find the pair ambushed along the way and forced to go on the run. Hilarity ensues of course, not to mention the obvious sparks.

Guess last night's kiss at the MTV Movie Awards with Ryan's missus, Scarlett Johansson, really got Sandy in the mood?

"The project is currently in development and she is looking forward to reading the script," Bullock's rep confirmed to E! News Monday.

Proposal scribe Peter Chiarelli sold the pitch to Universal Pictures for $1 million and the studio is is in talks with that film's director, Anne Fletcher, about coming aboard. Reynolds will also executive-produce Most Wanted with his Dark Trick Films partner Jonathan Komack-Martin.

This will be the second romantic-themed flick the thesps will have coupled up for, following such modern big screen pairings as Richard Gere and Julia Roberts (Pretty Woman and The Runaway Bride) and Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan (Joe Vs. the Volcano, Sleepless in Seattle and You've Got Mail).
