Weezy just got one more weekend of freedom.
A spokeswoman at the Office of Court Administration, tells E! News that the hearing, which had expected to take place this afternoon, has now been rescheduled for Monday. Judge Charles H. Solomon made the move after getting word that Manhattan Criminal Court would be undergoing repairs to the fire damage.
The New York City Fire Department said the cause was faulty electrical wiring. The building's doors remained shut today, and while many cases have moved to a smaller courthouse across the street, Weezy's wasn't one of them.
Presuming he ever makes it back to court the 27-year-old rapper is expected to begin a yearlong sentence for a gun charge.
Last night, he surprised the audience at Jay-Z's sold-out Madison Square Garden concert, turning up onstage with Young Jeezy to perform the aptly titled "I'm Goin In."
Sure he is.
