It's only fitting that the funeral of one of the world's biggest designers would draw a crowd of fashionista mourners, and that's just what happened today in London for Alexander McQueen.

Friends and colleagues Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and Stella McCartney were just some of the famous faces who paid their respects at the 100-strong gathering, which took place roughly two weeks after the 40-year-old couturier took his own life.

This morning's private service was held at St. Paul's Church in London and lasted roughly an hour, after which the coffin—covered in red, white and pink roses and bearing his real name, Lee McQueen—was carried by four pallbearers to an awaiting hearse.

A public memorial will follow later this year, though a spokeswoman for the McQueen design house said that plans will not be made until after his final collection is posthumously shown at Paris Fashion Week March 9.
